Description

Designs for the Word Challenge of the week for DAC GROUP.

It's been a while @.@ but this has been the little window of free time I had again.

Okay! For me, annoying isn't what people look like, it's more of what I hear from them directly (and sound isn't really the easiest thing to put in a design, haha). I tried my best to come up with designs that best embodied the tones I really find annoying with some people.

1. The obnoxious - quite a typical design: big hair, big chin, big smile. All of which are apt to describe a big-headed show-offy and self-centered kind of attitude.
2. The misnomer - I invented that category myself. I wanted to describe people who are the worst at choosing the right thing to say (includes tactless questions and answers, acting like he knows everything, not afraid to correct others even if it's uncalled for, joining in random conversations just to show off and stuff). The design is kinda symbolic, haha. Big ears for eavesdropping, a big nose for putting in other people's business and the hair over his eyes to hide his own identity.
3. The persistent - another invented category. I wanted to describe those people who absolutely love to nag (myself included  but I try to fix my tone into something more gentle). Big head for the smart part, big body for the imposing part, the rest are just add-ons because without the facial hair and the polo and pants, he'd look like a school bully, haha.
4. The royalties - invented category. Used to describe those people who expect things to come to them. I drew this from the past experiences of so many group works and group activities which only ended up in me and a 1/8 of the entire assigned group doing the work. All of the blame goes to me for not nudging everyone else but I really really wanna blame them because they don't ask about what to do. Or, some cases are that I tell them to do a vague thing, and they don't clarify with me right away.
*rant over*
Okay, punky-looking hair style (I don't mean to impose stereotypes but it gives off a rebellious "I do what I want" vibe), headphones to block off the responsibilities of the world, and freckles for childishness.

Last but not the least (in fact this is my most people peeve)
5. The Flirts - nuff said. I especially find annoying these people who aren't subtle with their flirts. (pardon the monogamous-good love preach) These people absolutely live to flirt. It's what they do and I did my best to really stereotype it. I wish I could've done more >p< haha
the girl I made kinda skinny (so she isn't exactly a score of 10 because of her body) so she makes up for it by showing a lot of her skin. I threw in frivolous highlights and heavy make-up too. As for her male counterpart: a v-neck polo, dimples and that sultry-looking pair of eyes to captivate unsuspecting girls.

*rant definitely over*
Haha! Thanks to DAC for a challenge to let out some of my frustrations.

EDIT:
After a couple of days, I look back to this and I think that these aren't the best designs I've done, simple as they are. I should've probably exaggerated them more instead of force them to look normal. :/ ah well, haha

Nice work!

These characters are amusing! (and annoying too)
