...14 hours from now, I'll be off to my new school's orientation program for the freshmen. Though I am entering a postgrad course I am a new member of this particular University and must be "inducted and instructed" in the ways of said University.
I am both scared and excited.
I have my biases against the school, since it's definitely more structured, rigid, and conservative than my previous University. Don't get me started on school spirit XD
I'm not the kind who eagerly jumps into a bandwagon, especially when I approach something from a neutral standpoint. Like, my purposes for entering such a school are primarily self-centered reasons and I would have a hard time explaining that to someone who is more compassionate and emotional about school pride.
So yeah, I'm a robot when it comes to that sort of thing, haha XD In fact, I didn't entirely accept my first University until my 2nd year there. I have a weird problem with envy in that it's usually over the silliest little things that don't even matter
TL;DR: Med School orientation tomorrow. Excited and terrified. New school, new people, new attitudes BUT also a new slate.
See you around! So, I'm happy to report, and you'll be happy to hear, I'm taking life one game at a time.
